is it ok to ask "are you a troll"?

just that. when we suspect that something is fishy I don't want to have to report a thread.
that's not troll hunting IMO, it's troll interviewing.
that should be allowed.

Every now and then I want to ask the OP if they are a troll.
we could do this 1 time per thread. if OP says no then we believe them,
if no answer it's a troll.
easy peasy

how about that?

I'm fed up with fucking trolls Angry and I just want to ask this question on the thread.

This poster is shouting "Vagina, Vagina, Vagina"

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/2280385-To-be-mortified-with-this-find

Would "Tits, Tits, Tits" be an acceptable riposte in this specific instance?

PacificDogwood · 12/01/2015 16:57

Oh dear, that fred is going all pear-shaped, isn't it?

BankWadger · 12/01/2015 17:00

Deletion messages are always really basic when trolls abound.

Otherwise it encourages them, in hope of getting a good one.

magimedi · 12/01/2015 17:30

Sniggers @ Bank & Zing.

ZingTheGreat · 12/01/2015 17:35

It must be boring being a troll. After the OP, that is.

You dream it up, rub your hands with evil glee, post....

Then it's all a high speed downhill slalom.

ArsenicFaceCream · 12/01/2015 19:44

Have I spelt that properly? It s more like a mangled 'shalom' Confused

PacificDogwood · 12/01/2015 19:46

Whoa, the JM one got properly nasty, with the OP/troll spitting venom at MH an'all! Shock
How can people be bothered?! Who has the time and nervous energy??

ZingTheGreat · 12/01/2015 19:51

best response was "troll off" (not naming poster) Grin

Someone slipped in a bit of t-rex on Strictly this last time round and I know I wasn't the only viewer thinking Sharon! Grin

BankWadger · 12/01/2015 20:48

Hmm, Zing I'm not stalking you today. Honest! BlushGrin

PacificDogwood · 12/01/2015 20:49

Noooo, Bank, did they?
On a Strictly thread here, or on actual Strictly on't telly?!

That would just be so amazing! Grin

Zing, vair subtle!

BankWadger · 12/01/2015 20:50

Strictly on telly. Twas great (and slightly tragic).

PacificDogwood · 12/01/2015 20:55

Oh wow.
Now I almost regret that I get bored to tears by reality TV did not watch Strictly on that occasion Grin

BankWadger · 12/01/2015 20:57

TeaAndALemonTart · 12/01/2015 21:02
