what has happened to the legal fund? the campaign? the threat of court action? or has it just all fallen by the wayside until the next person we upset?

Hi there, Apologies we didn't get back to you earlier on this. Here's an update of where we are:
We are still on notice of legal procedings from Gina Ford. This is why we have not been able to lift the ban on mentioning her books or methods on our site (explanations of why the ban and updates excepted!) The very latest correspondence we have had from GF's lawyers said that she is planning to meet with her business advisors to review how best to move forward with the matter.
Her lawyers have also written to tell us they are currently considering a seperate action against Mumsnet on their own behalf because they say we breached their copyright when we published the letter they sent to our ISP, in which GF requested that the ISP shut us down.
So we are waiting to hear what next and will keep you posted of any resolution or otherwise.
