So, we thought we'd have a sort of Mumsnet open day...

Ever found yourself wondering, in an idle moment, what really goes on at MNHQ? If you’re curious to know who’s in charge of the big red delete button, what we keep in our biscuit tin, and whether we do, in fact, harbour mainland UK’s largest cache of gin well, here’s your chance. On Wednesday 26th March we’re planning to throw open our doors to five nosy interested Mumsnetters, who’ll have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to uncover our deepest, darkest secrets.

Attendees will be treated to

  • a tour of MNHQ (which will take approx 10 mins)
  • the opportunity to grill our community, content, bloggers, events and campaigns folks on anything you fancy
  • the chance to ransack our books box for a load of freebies
  • lunch on me (possibly with Wine)

We’ll also do our best to organise an exciting webchat guest for the day, so you can see backstage on those too.

Our offices are in central-ish London (Kentish Town); if you’re likely to be within striking distance on March 26th, and fancy a nose around, add your name to this thread; we’ll stick it in a hat and do a Hunger Games-style reaping on Monday 3rd March. Come on now, don’t be shy - what could possibly go wrong?

[May the odds be ever in your favour]

I am shocked that MN do not 'get' CecyHall. Obviously they didn't waste their early years reading Victorian girls' literature and soaking up the valuables moral lessons within.

MotherOfDragon · 03/03/2014 21:11

I'm Hmm for myself

LineRunner · 03/03/2014 21:12

It was fab seeing RebeccaMN on the You Tubes.

Well done all, have a great day.

CecyHall · 03/03/2014 21:15

curses whoever took the easy to pronounce KatyCarr nickname

Well I hope someone has other plans they forgot about!

MrsFlorrick · 03/03/2014 21:18

What!?? Where is the list? Do I not get to go then?

Blondieminx · 03/03/2014 21:18

Well done to everyone selected!

I am GrinGrinGrin at the idea of Chaos pottering round the Towers confirming/denying things on her spreadsheet! Love that Justine knew nevergoogle is pregnant.

Enjoy the day lucky ladies Smile

NymodigFruOla · 03/03/2014 21:24

Hearts, we'll just have to have another of those lovely lunchtime meet-ups in the sunshine - won't we?! Sorry about your ski accident Sad

ISeeYouShiverWithAntici · 03/03/2014 21:26

they actually REALLY 'know' you, don't they, nevergoogle?

that wasn't staged 'knowing', that was genuine familiarity.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 03/03/2014 21:26

Oh well done everyone. (Secretly relieved as us plebs aren't getting strike day off and I would have had to throw a sickie. And I have no clothes glamourous enough for that London) have fun.

nevergoogle · 03/03/2014 21:38

nevergoogle · 03/03/2014 21:50
