"Add a Message

It is with great regret that we have to ask members to refrain from any further discussion of Gina Ford, her methods or her books on the site. To find out why click here. We'd be very grateful if members could report any mentions of Gina Ford using the "contact Mumsnet" facility (the little red exclamation mark to the right of each posting). Many thanks. MNHQ. "

Never seen it before.

JessaJam · 07/08/2006 15:43

J&Cmummy - tbh I already did ..just in case...but can't hurt for you to do it too....

JessaJam · 07/08/2006 15:44

in fact...it has been deleted already!

MrsRichardHammond · 07/08/2006 15:46

some of the bounty mums are flooding her with my email after my response, please feel free to add your support!

AvaLou · 07/08/2006 15:46

She will amost certainly have 'media monitoring' on her name, I used to do it for Ken Livingstone and we had to archive every single mention of him in the press, and on 'significant' websites. In the lead up to the Mayoral election this was expanded to include even personal blogs. I would assume noone has a team in full force doing this now.

aitch71 · 07/08/2006 15:46

better delete mine too, then...

SlightlyFamiliarPeachyClair · 07/08/2006 15:49

I used to work for a charity that paid to have their name watched by a company too, it's usual nowadays

Contacted ken Livingstone yet then?????

Doen the parenting mags

Phew!!!!!!!!!!

Freckle · 07/08/2006 15:49

If you want campaigning journalists, then you can't do better than Mark Thomas. He's great at this sort of thing. Really took on Nestle at their shareholders' meeting and raised the issues on television.

MrsRichardHammond · 07/08/2006 15:50

Anyone contacted Channel 4?

AvaLou · 07/08/2006 15:51

Ken Livingstones probably too busy making sure carol thatcher or alan sugar don't get elected over him, snigger.

Piffle · 07/08/2006 15:53

I used to work in media monitoring as a media monitor. Naomi CAmpbell and Michael Winner were both keen litigious types who threatened over teensy little things.

JessaJam · 07/08/2006 16:00

In which case Piffle...maybe they have monitored this thread and will soon be considering whether to be litigious about being accused of being litigious!!!!!

JoshuaandChloesmummy · 07/08/2006 16:01

Ive emailed someone a bit more info about this, and he/she/them is 'dying laughing at lawyers' objection to the comment about rockets and the Lebanon!'

MrsRichardHammond · 07/08/2006 16:02

apparently (according to her people) they're not starting legal action against anyone (even though as can be seen in my email i never asked about that!) and they're not impeeding our right to discuss her.

edam · 07/08/2006 16:04

Funnily enough her solicitor's website was down when I tried to visit - wonder if it's crashed because scores of outraged parents are trying to get in touch?
