It is with great regret that we have to ask members to refrain from any further discussion of Gina Ford, her methods or her books on the site. To find out why click here. We'd be very grateful if members could report any mentions of Gina Ford using the "contact Mumsnet" facility (the little red exclamation mark to the right of each posting). Many thanks. MNHQ. "

Never seen it before.

MrsRichardHammond · 07/08/2006 14:14

have written several amazon reviews....

Have you told the big baby product manufacturers such as pampers, huggies, calpol, cow and gate, tesco etc those with parenting sites. Get them involved too.

Ladies feel free to come to bounty debates too if you wish! lol

mummydear · 07/08/2006 14:15

Mumsnet team - I hereby pledge my allegiance to the almighty Mumsnet!
You asked for ideas: hope you don't mind me emailing Jeremy Vine and his team alerting them to this issue, which for me, is of utmost importance.
Mumsnet is a truly monumental achievement of which you should be rightly proud; it provides many many mothers, fathers AND their children with a wealth of advice, support and fun and should NOT be under threat of closure by any one individual.

AvaLou · 07/08/2006 14:17

Funy thing is I was indifferent and wouldn't advocate or slate this method, having read the first two chapters and decided it wasn't for me. But having seen this I now have a very strong opinion, which I will gladly spread around..

SlightlyFamiliarPeachyClair · 07/08/2006 14:17

(And I checked my typing on the e-mail)

Marina · 07/08/2006 14:17

Joanna Moorhead often writes articles with input from Mners and very good they are too. She might be another person to approach?
Happy to do anything I can to help MNHQ with this. Have signed the petition already.

SlightlyFamiliarPeachyClair · 07/08/2006 14:18

Kiskidee, if she did she has widely underestimated the addiction power of parenting sites.

Sad that Aloha is gone.

katierocket · 07/08/2006 14:20

I'm emailed India Knight and Decca Aitkenhead. Still think it's worth others doing so, the more the merrier really.

AvaLou · 07/08/2006 14:21

Wel it's a small drop in the ocean, but I'd have never found this otherwise and it is a really lovely site, with so much information! I'll recommend it to my friends too, so some good comes from a bad situation I guess
