What is with the random redirect to porn?

Ok maybe not open but twice now I have been reading a thread and my browser has redirected to a site selling vibrators and dildos! The same site both times! Confused

The first time was yesterday and I presumed I had managed to click a random link somehow. It's just done it again whilst I was reading a thread and not actually touching my phone!

Thanks for the screenshot. We've spoken to tech and they say it's almost certainly adware or a virus on your computer. Sorry, that's probably not what you were hoping to hear, but it might be worth running a virus scan to see if it catches anything.

I've emailed the screen shot to MNHQ. I've never had anything like this before Confused

I'm pretty sure it isn't my phone. I'll settle down with the iPad and see if it happens on there too...

Sorry about this, we had reports of this redirecting AliExpress ad last week and blocked it, unfortunately it looks like it's slipped through the net again. Can you confirm what device this is happening on? An iPhone?

FrauEnglischLehrerin and Fark - is this the Ali Express redirect again? Sorry about this, it keeps slipping through the net somehow. How recently has this happened to you both?

We'll get those ads that are automatically opening the app store blocked too, thanks for reporting.

App store redirect just happened again, to a game called Empire: Four Kingdoms.

The porn redirect has not happened again since last week.

What kind of device are you on, Frau? Desktop/mobile/tablet?

When you see an ad that makes you go a bit Hmm, could you let us know the name of the advertiser and what device you've seen it on? Screen grabs sent to [email protected] would be fabulous too.

Hello, can you remember the names of the pay day loans and debt advertisers? These definitely shouldn't be displaying on the site.
