I posted a < > thing on a thread, but it posted as a blank post.

Mine are all still here. So far.

I've just had problems with posts not loading - posts in the middle of the page available, but blank/white screen above and below. At one point the screen appeared to be in two halves...

Am on iPad - cleared history etc in settings before logging back in.

NorbertDentressangle · 14/12/2013 12:15

I'm off to try on my phone to see if it makes a difference.....

Is it because Tech remembered we wanted to keep the Tardis and use it for and now she's sneakily given it to us?

NorbertDentressangle · 14/12/2013 12:22

My experiment was (in the words of DS) an epic fail.

NorbertDentressangle · 14/12/2013 12:22

Betty - you did it!

DameDeepRedBetty · 14/12/2013 12:48

But I did the standard blank post, that surely most of us who've been here more than a few months know how to do.

I thought I'd double check that it still worked, after trying out experiments with < and > instead of [ and ]

Still bewildered. Sad

Blimey this is weird

DecorKateTheXmasTreeMumsnet · 14/12/2013 15:10

Does it only do it if you're telling someone to fuck off?

ChippingInLovesChristmasLights · 14/12/2013 15:13

Usual

Kate apparently not Grin

It was doing it on another thread a couple (a few??) weeks ago. I'm sure Tech was told.

DecorKateTheXmasTreeMumsnet · 14/12/2013 15:16

Hmmmmm. Well this is an exciting new development. For those of you who has been blessed with Intermittent Creepy Wee Bracket Invisibility (or ICWBI for short) could you tell us how you're posting - e.g. I'm using Chrome on a PC and it's working.

DecorKateTheXmasTreeMumsnet · 14/12/2013 15:21

Talk guidelines still apply even if you are stricken by ICWBI!

You could get very zen about this...if you tell someone to fuck off but no-one reads it, have you still told them to fuck off?

I think the guidelines still apply even existential hypotheses. It's what Satre would have wanted.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 14/12/2013 15:39

AHA! I am triumphant!!

It is possible MN is finally reading all "" as code! As I have told you it would for years and years!

And when the text between "" is not actually code, it will just ignore it and return nothing!!

You all must come to the :::: side now!!!!

[evil Xmas Grin]
