Mumsnet merchandise - your input needed please

Hi all

After years of being asked to come up with MN merchandise and (aside from some incredibly tight t-shirts with virtual mother on them way back in the early-2000s) pretty much sticking our collective fingers in our ears, we've finally found someone who can help us produce and sell a qualiteee online range - hopefully available in time for Christmas. And we're looking for your input.

We reckon a range of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and mugs with Mumsnet in-jokes/ popular phrases - which is what folks have mentioned in the past - but is there anything else we've collectively missed? And what do you want on them? A T-shirt telling all and sundry to LTB? A mug asking whether YABU? A hoody announcing that it' really best to RTFT?

Ideas very much welcome please

You can do that. We're not trying to hide it from anyone, if I'm honest we just don't have all the ads ready yet, that's all.

An AIBU mug has to be top of the list. The only problem I will have is who to give it to - I can only afford a finite number after all

I think there should be a pack of pre-selected tea towels.

AIBU, ODFOD and Naice Tea Towel would go well together. Or a set of emoticon ones.

Are these actual photographs, or mock-ups? Because the images on some of the t-shirts are unpleasantly off-centre. This is particularly obvious on the PFB, DS and DD shirts. I think the letters and the MN logo have been treated as one image, and that one image has been centred on the shirt, rather than centring the letters on the shirt and allowing the MN logo to be off-centre - which would work much better. IMO.

And there's no YABU/YANBU mug. [sulk]

Hi Iloveafullfridge. The t shirts are mock ups, but you make a good point about alignment which I'll check out.

Also, you are being rather discriminatory. Could we have mugs that say 'PSB' for Precious Second Born, as I want to get DD2 one as well as DD1 (who would obviously get the PFB mug), DGM and DGF, and XH for the rest of my family.

Please, or I can't discriminate and get just DD1 a mug, it wouldn't be fair.

I have to agree that £18.pp plus P&P is a bit steep for a t-shirt.

I have never spent that much on a T Shirt, ever. Probably not £10 for a mug either.
