For those who are having problems posting...

Afternoon,

just to tell those of you who are having problems posting and are using internet explorer version 8 and 9 that we think we've sorted it. Please do let us know if you're still having issues via [email protected] or post on here (if you can).

I´m the same as Commuterbelt when i post 'post message' nothing at all happens, no warning signs, nothing. the only thing that happens is that the 'post message box' has a dotted border then nothing :S

Two other observations, don´t know if they make a difference. On internet Explore the message box, preview message and post message buttons are all rectangular with sharp 90degree corners, On Firefox they are all rounded corners.

All the above boxes on Internet Explorer are also Larger, and the font in Preview and Post boxes is smaller.

On internet explorer I am also missing the Mumsnet Insight Box, Mumsnet Latest Box, and Blog of the day from the left hand coloum!

Like commuterbelt nothing happens for me when I click post message. Although ive noticed the post and preview buttons have a weird white border underneath and to the left (within the button) that wasnt there before. IYSWIM.

Otherwise the site looks normal - can see the blog, latest and insight sections no problem.

Still not working for me either. V annoying.

Still not working I'm on IE no idea what version but PC is 3 years old.

The font is different too.

Hi all. Thank you for all the feedback. The majority of users are posting without any issues, but for those of you who are still having problems and have IE9 or later and are willing to assist us, please:

1. hit F12 which displays the Developer tools in IE (or select Developer Tools from the menu)
2. Click on the Console tab
3. Make an attempt to post on Mumsnet
4. Send us a screenshot or copy/paste whatever appears in the Console tab. Email it to [email protected]

Well, clearly that was me... Should have said me on IE10...

Thanks ShamTech, did you find out what was causing it? Now no more messing around with the site .

If it helps, the weird white border at the bottom of the post and preview buttons has now gone. Odd indeed.
