One little post announcing all changes before you make them? Would go a long way. Surely you guys must see that?!?!

First off we completely take your point about announcing changes before they happen. This is something we fully intend to get better at.

The release yesterday was what's known in quality control circles as 'a cock-up', which is why we didn't pre-announce it

We're getting our best staff working on a plan to pre-announce cock-ups because it would be pretty useful for us as well

SRSLY - sorry folks. We do know this is an issue and we're honestly working on a more systematic way of warning you when things are going to change so that you can all tell us not to do it
