Can there be an emergency reporting button

Following a v bad thread earlier, I'm wondering if there is a way of triaging reporting so that absolutely vile stuff is brought to MNHQ attention immediately rather than joining the reported stuff queue?

I'm sure that there is a huge amount of reporting stuff to wade through, and I'm wondering if that means the really awful stuff doesn't get the immediate action in needs?

The horrible padeo thread took 2 hours to delete, which just seems a long time to me.
When you report, it currently asks you if you are reporting
a) spam
b) other stuff
maybe we could have a (c) also for really grim stuff and then the (c) category got looked at as a priority?

Would that work?

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll certainly look into it.

We do operate a kind of triage system already, just so you know. We certainly don't plod through the Reports in strictly chronological order.

It might also help to know that, though the thread in question was created just after 9am this morning, the first reports of it didn't come in till sometime after that.

We always get to stuff as fast as we can.

@Tee2072

There's no need to post on the thread and say you've reported it, actually.

Just report it and hide it from your Active and move on with your life.

I think HQ do an amazing job. 2 hours isn't long at all.

Aw, thanks Tee. That's very kind.

@Photoofducks

Surely such an obvious post should be reported and not posted on? A troll thrives on attention, yet so many posters can't resist posting Confused

Seriously, report and move on.

And yes. Always more infuriating for the hairy of hoof if their creative writing provokes nothing but tumbleweed

@Callmedreckly

Does it help if we individually report it more than once?

Actually no. Once is all we need - thanks v much.

(Unless there's something else you need to add to what you told us first time round.)

We don't triage according to the number of reports from one thread, if that's what you're getting at.
