To log in (I've got fat fingers and am on my IPad) and it says MN aren't accepting any new registrations?

Haven't had a lock in in years.

Ooh I love a good lock in. Halcyon days of a back street pub in East End of London. So many memories!

1. The time a man burst in with a gun and a regular calmly (and swiftly) somehow bent his arm backwards, took out the magazine and tossed in on the nearest table before sending him flying out of the door. Surreally, everyone just carried on drinking like it was an everyday thing

1. Falling off many a bar stool

1. The landlady's appalling singing voice.

1. Lock ins where emerging at 7am was deemed "an early night"

Shakey if it wasn't for the fact that you mentioned London, I'd have thought you had been to the same pub as me.

Landlady's voice - check (and she never let anyone else have the karaoke)

Oh, and corned beef sandwiches on thick white bread being passed round during the lock-in (they were left over from earlier funeral wake!)

DH and I were reminiscing today in fact. Sadly the pub isn't the same anymore, different landlord/clientele etc, plus the fact we live over 200miles away now. Being responsible parents doesn't help either though we do let our hair down on a child free night but more likely to be home by 7pm instead of a.m as our bodies can't hack it anymore
