Regular troll name changer starts nasty thread on Style & Beauty. You get masses of reports - even one from me! But you are leaving it because

So she deliberately starts a goading thread about fat people (again) but that's okay because she's deemed harmless not hurtful.

And I'm not fat so not taking it personally just asking for MNHQ to be consistent.

Then let's take it up on the thread instead of sanitising the boards of unpleasant but lawful opinions?

I really hate some of the misogynistic tripe that gets posted. You can report that - it's against a protected group. Personal attacks of any nature are banned. Posters who just come along to be snidey and unkind you can flag to hq who will have a look and have a word if necessary.

I also hate people who are just vile for sport. This is particularly pre silent in AIBU. I tend to avoid AIBU for that reason and have the topic hidden although I do find the odd thread from most active convos. But really we must call a poster on their posts, not on who you think they are from the sum of the posts you have selectively memorised. I think sometimes we need to say "oi that's not on for X, Y, Z reason" instead of running off to get the big girls.

Yep by and large i agree with you hothead that a little kindness goes a long way but thats never been a popular opinion on here. Its not all about the lolz and sparkle for those who need to discuss serious stuff like sn stuff, not to deliberately soul bare but get sensible unbiased advice

The OP of the deleted thread has started many many threads just like it over the years.

She knew exactly what reaction she was going to get, because it's the same resction her other threads got. And she's probably loving all this attention.

I don't particularly care, but all these cries of "poor cod" are a bit ludicrous.

I don't get the calling her "the fishy one" and all that. Why? (Genuine question)
