snazzy, another interesting point. do you think that posters on here are only contributing if they are also baring their own souls and contributing of themselves? i don't, personally, i just want to come here for a giggle, but i am often amazed (and sometimes even a little embarrassed) by the amount that people reveal about themselves and their private lives on here.
i guess i measure my favourite posters by their giggle-factor, because that's why i'm here, but i can see that others measure it by their ability to soul-bare.

And I don't see a comment about fat arms as being so truly terrible - and as mentioned, I am not a slim person. There are fat people on TV. There are fat people in RL. If it were to make me feel so bad to have this pointed out to me, then I should have to avoid the internet. Or lose weight.

You are right, and it is good that people point it out and tell her that. But all this angst and reporting of threads - is it not an overreaction.

In the good old days, someone would have posted 'oh, do feck off, Fishface' and we would have moved on to talking about something else, when around here this were all fields.
