Spoofs, Jokes and Trolls

Right.

I want a serious debate about this.

I started a joke thread, in my own name as usual, about a neighbour stealing a spoon.

It was questioned as "trolling" and I got told off by Rebecca at MNHQ.

Are spoofs and/or jokes no longer allowed?

Since when?

And why?

What do people think about spoofs, jokes and trolls and the difference theereof?

Ok

You can come out but behave.

I want a night off from trying to reason with unreasonable sorts. So don't bloody start Grin

Fiderer · 28/03/2013 22:15

LBE I love James Taylor. I thought he'd be like Val Doonican whom I'd have to hate because my mum liked him but he's wonderful.

And Zombie, I have. She has offered you Maltesers (we don't get them here) and I said it was kind but you are in the UK so can buy your own Grin

MadameDefarge · 28/03/2013 22:16

shall we sing kumbaya in a round now? I feel I need it.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 28/03/2013 22:17

Mmm, I like scones. Thank you.

I am not quite sure what I said to get deleted there.

I don't think Hully should be being accused of bitterness. That seems quite personally-attacky to me.

Fiderer · 28/03/2013 22:17

This is a fast thread. Am I 812 years old or jet-lagged after moving one whole hour?

usualsuspect · 28/03/2013 22:17

Shall I get the bong out?

LadyBeaEGGleEyes · 28/03/2013 22:17

He's all hippy and relaxed Fid.
I'm feeling very chilled.

I agree, the bitter post should have been deleted.

MiaCulper · 28/03/2013 22:18

IamtheZombie · 28/03/2013 22:18

Right ... now, are any of those deletable?!

FunnysInLaJardin · 28/03/2013 22:19

I knew a PO in RL once, in fact I knew a few. The last few we rented a cottage in Wales with Shock and after a load of pa shit I slammed my fist on the dinner table mid NYday dinner and said RIGHT WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM with you and she said 'Jonny please help me' and we have never seen them again. That was 20 years ago. I am fierce

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 28/03/2013 22:19

LRDtheFeministDragon · 28/03/2013 22:19

I am nearly sure my new neighbour is a MNer, btw. It's very nice.

usualsuspect · 28/03/2013 22:19

IamtheZombie · 28/03/2013 22:22

When this thread fills up, would you mind bringing the bong around to Zombie's bar in Chat please, usual?

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 28/03/2013 22:22

My neighbours across the road freak me out.

He appears to have sex with his car.

She pops out the front door at all odd hours through the day to take photos of her feet and then goes back in again.

Weird.
