Quite, I did not always agree with Aloha, but she had an inimitably eloquent ability to express herself, often involved in contentious issue ddebates, always opinionated BUT always fair and factual.
I did feel in that debate that it was both or neither and I do feel there was provocation beyond the norm.

It wasn't easy JT!! But it was driving me mad too!

She couldn't be here with another name, she'd be spotted in a minute plus I don't think she'll come back as it was about principles. I miss her too.

I have a lot of respect for aloha, I really valued her posts.

That is such a pity that Aloha is not posting anymore. I really liked her posts and used to do a search to see where she was thereby saving me the trouble of trawling through all the current stuff to find something interesting.

Aloha is missed.

I did not like how MN handled the thread as well. Whilst I often disagreed w/Aloha, she added much to MN w/her perspective, talent and intelligence.

I agree it's a crying shame that Aloha went. Think it was very badly handled by MN.

saw an article by her in one of the weekend supplements a few weeks back.

Well I had missed all that thread debacle... badly handled by MNHQ but sadly I will say it isn't the 1st time they have not handled things well... I suppose it isn't easy for them either (give benefit of doubt here)...
When Pie (a much loved poster) went it was the same and then there was Milupa, etc....

I've seen her in RL (smirk) and she's very well and lovely.
