Why can't I use local?

I've tried a few times, since the launch of the new local - can't remember what happened on previous attempts but know I was unable to post.

Today I can't get past " your local nickname is already set"

That's odd. Which Local are you trying to find?

So, you click on Add message and what do you see?

OK, we've asked our Tech team about this and it appears there is a small glitch.
