Annoying gap/Wowcher

On some threads I get a huuuuuuge gap between the thread title and the first post. There is also a one line advert for wowcher just above the first post. Is it just an annoying ad not working or my problem?

The Wowcher ad is wrong anyway.

"sign-up" is not the correct wording.

In the imperative it should be "Sign up to get lots of emails with nothing that you really want".

I would like the wowcher thing to go away please,

I already get eleventy billion emails per day from groupon trying to give me discounts on very expensive restaurants and luxury cars. I have no need of wowcher.

and anyway I have heard you need to wait at least a decade to be able to use the discount vouchers Justine mumsnet said on another thread if they get complaints they will remove it ,

I guess it is an advert MN might get some money wowcher gets more customers , im a bit meh about it but the gaps fixed i can ignore the bar, sometimes the flashy adverts at the sides distract me

I really object to having adverts IN the thread, like this wowcher one.

Mumsnet is a total collage of adverts already, if you need to advertise them, please do it where you already have adverts

You don't want to end up looking like one of those local mags that nobody reads because they are all ads and no content.

Why does it get past adblock (on Firefox) just out of interest? Is it not technically classed as an ad? Nothing else is getting past my adblock on MN.

I don't mind most of the ads, except those massive ones down the sides of the homepage from time to time.
