Seems we have an influx of idiots tonight! There have been loads of really unpleasant posts. Any chance of some deletions?

Hardly your fault, Cafe! Are you locked in to your flat securely? Why are they breaking in?

Jacksmania · 29/12/2012 05:01

Aw shit Pidj. Shit shit shit. Will try to find your fred. So sorry love.

cafecito · 29/12/2012 05:05

They're trying to break the front door in but it's a block of 10 flats, spose they think it's worth it- I think I might call the police, I was hoping they would stop with lack of success. It can't be a neighbour locked out nobody would try and smash their own door in that many times without perhaps trying to ring a doorbell. Drat I wanted to go and get sprite Hmm now I definitely can't sleep!

cafecito · 29/12/2012 05:08

I've just seen your thread and it sounds like he is making really good progress, but you must be so so shocked. I worked in a stroke rehab centre last year (I'ma medic, was on a placement) and the guys there were incredible, doing a 12 week recovery program. I also have worked with stroke patients before in law, and many make an absolutely full recovery if they are seen quickly. It is different for everyone but it sounds like you got him there really quickly and his age and fitness should really help recovery

cafecito · 29/12/2012 05:09

But with a 5 week old on top of this, wow, you've been through so much, I'm not surprised you're up worrying! Sad hope things continue to get better with him

FreeButtonBee · 29/12/2012 05:10

Shit, sorry Pidj, what a 'orrible thing. Sending lots of nice vibes your way

PurplePidjChickIsNotTheMessiah · 29/12/2012 05:33

Thanks, and sorry to derail this thread!

Cafe, definitely call the Polis, if only to cover an insurance claim. Tbh if they were on the rob they wouldn't be making any noise. Hope you get your Sprite soon, I need a glass of water but if I get out of bed ds might howl and wake MIL

cafecito · 29/12/2012 05:37

I called the non emergency number and they said they'd come and investigate, I was like, yeah I have to go out soon for sprite I think they must be very drunk they're making a load of noise

bit worried it might be someone who lives here Grin and the police will rock up and I should've actually just opened the door for them!

no derailing of thread, I think it derailed about 60 posts ago! so sorry to hear what a shock you've been through

Thumbwitch · 29/12/2012 05:48

Pidj, just seen and posted on your thread - what a bloody shock! Xmas Sad Glad he seems to be making good progress though.

Cafecito, I hope the police turn up soon - even if it is someone who lives there, they're disturbing people! (OK, I know that's a bit mean, but if they're just stonkingly drunk then maybe the Police will be able to sort them out in terms of either getting in legitimately, or locking them up to sleep it off - do they still do that?)

HermioneE · 29/12/2012 05:54

Cafe at least if that happens you'll be able to go get your sprite! Xmas Grin

Morning all, I'm up because apparently my soon to be DC1 thinks it's fun to kick what feels like my intestines at this hour. Been reading MN for the last hour and was starting to consider gate crashing the night feeds thread Xmas Smile

PurplePidjChickIsNotTheMessiah · 29/12/2012 08:46

Hermione, this one used to play footie with my stomach at a similar time of the morning little bugger

RowanTheRedNosedMumsnet · 29/12/2012 09:51

Hello

Sorry about this - just dealing with all the wankers (frankly) now.

FancyPuffinFullOPaxoStuffin · 29/12/2012 10:04

Brew Rowan

They are bloody wankers, some especially vile stuff last night Angry

SledYuleCated · 29/12/2012 10:23

Oh Rowan, they were far more vile than most of the twats we get Gin [copious amounts of gin]

CatPussRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 29/12/2012 11:58

Rowan, who was supposed to be on duty last night? Was MN left home alone?

OP posts:
giraffesCantFlyLikeReindeer · 29/12/2012 12:45

No idea what was said, I missed it but I LOVE MN - on no other site would you get someone from HQ coming in and saying "sorry about that, dealing with the wankers now." Xmas Grin

fuck you wanky wankers!!

MaryChristmaZEverybody · 29/12/2012 13:06

If Rowan is allowed to call them all wankers, does that mean we can too [hopeful]?

LittleTownofBethleHelenMumsnet · 29/12/2012 14:07

@MaryChristmaZEverybody

If Rowan is allowed to call them all wankers, does that mean we can too [hopeful]?

Nope. Xmas Smile

Only RowanMumsnet has wanker privileges.

giraffesCantFlyLikeReindeer · 29/12/2012 14:15

I would love to see her contract.

Section 4, paragraph 8. Wanker privileges.

RowanTheRedNosedMumsnet · 29/12/2012 14:57
JessBrodysTits · 29/12/2012 17:08

Rowan you ROCK

SledYuleCated · 29/12/2012 17:13

Seriously, don't deny your wanker privileges. Embrace them or transfer them to me Grin

Must have been a rough night. Thy were grim.

MaryChristmaZEverybody · 29/12/2012 18:16

Rowan is rapidly becoming my favourite Xmas Grin

FancyPuffinFullOPaxoStuffin · 29/12/2012 18:19

Rowan is my favourite [arse kisser emoticon]

Tis true though Grin

CatPussRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 30/12/2012 00:13
