GAH and NQAAON, I'm very well, all all is well in America. I'm still giving daily personal thanks that the president won the election instead of that other fella (all views expressed are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Mumsnet and/or anyone else.) It got cold suddenly here in New York, but we're mainly back to normal after all the damage from Sandy (with some notable exceptions of course.)

I was in That London last week to see all the Mumsnet office crew, which was nice, though they were a bit merciless about my Movember tache, which has left me a bit Basil Fawlty meets 70s stereotype Spanish waiter. That Darren reckons it's Rene from Allo Allo but he's just jealous really.

What is all this flying donkey bizinz?

Hi SOCCP, the car is fine now thanks. I got it back last Tuesday. It had to have a new bonnet and windscreen and a couple of other bits and bobs, but the main guts of it were undamaged - so it could have been a lot worse.
