Sorry to be late on the hallucinogenic toad conversation but if you ever find yourself in Lima and are offered the frog drink, just say no. I once met someone travelling who had partaken and he was VERY ill. But what the fuck he expected when he necked a blended cocktail with a live frog dropped into the blender is beyond me.
