Bookmarks have gone - anyone else?

They aren't there when I hover to set them any more. I've checked 'customise' and it's still selected.

Could it be a glitch? I saw a thread a few days ago with the same problem...

I've got them showing automatically on the mobile site on my phone; this is just on the PC.

Hi, Bookmarks and "message poster" are both working for me now on IE9. Are people still having problems? If you do, can you let us know which thread they are not working on if it's a particular one, or if you just don't see the bookmark links anywhere. Remember they only show up if you are logged in. Thanks.

Not working on IE9 on this thread for me either. On Firefox, it does work, but has other glitches so I don't use it.

Have tried a random sample of 3 other threads where it won't bookmark via IE.

I can see the bookmark buttons on this thread in IE9 and they seem to be working. The whole thing is very odd. There is a delay before jumping to the bookmarked bit (which is normal I think) but otherwise it works. It's a bit of a head-scratcher.

Not just me tho...

Sorry I've logged out of my work PC now. I was using chrome for today which was fine but bookmarks only appeared and the jump only occurred once I had cleared cache. Tech, could this mean something has been fixed...?

^^I meant only appeared when I was in IE9. All fine in Chrome.

OK I have bookmarks when using Chrome, but none in IE.

I've got my bookmarks back in Firefox, thank god. I HATE chrome!

On IE9. I have cleared my cache and still have no bookmarks. Aaaarrrhhh.

whojam I gave up with IE. Techie boy at PC world said they have loads of problems with it. I still had problems with the bookmarks in Firefox, but have put Google Chrome on, and all is fine. So far.

I've cleared the cache and now they've done a complete bunk. Arrrrggghhhhh.

Ok bookmarks are back using Chrome - but I want them in IE

I'm on IE8, no bookmarks for about 4 days now, and the chat of the day box has become one long box instead of chat of the day/ most discussed, IYSWIM. Then this morning, it's disappeared completely, along with the other bits, and say 'missing_template' instead.

Morning. Just gone into MN on my work PC (IE9) and still no bookmarks.

Looks like I'll be continuing with Chrome for MN for the time being!

Waaaah! I went away on holiday leaving everything in full working order and I've come back to no bookmarks too!

I've done the cache clearing thingy but no joy. I only discovered bookmarks fairly recently and now find it infuriating not having them!

Viper if you download Google Chrome for now, you can get them back!

I have switched to Chrome for now and they're back. Now I just need to work out how to get my three homepages that I like!
