Posts appearing twice using blackberry

I'm a semi-regular poster on conception 40 plus thread - and when I log in from my phone (blackberry) to add to the thread, it posts twice. Not a huge problem, but would like to know if it can be fixed. Be interesting to see if this post now appears twice as using phone to add this.

Hi KK, at the top of the page on the mobile site there are some purple buttons. The right-most of these - Desktop site - will take you to the full version. That's interesting that the error ony happens on the mobile version - I hadn't realised that.

Sorry, just realised I didn't answer your actual question. We sadly haven't been able to do fix this yet as you've no doubt seen. It should be within the next ten days or so. Sorry for the delay....

Thanks tech. good to know you're working on a fix for the double posting. Sorry to be a pain in the proverbial, but there's no purple buttons at the top of my screen. Looks like I'm missing some of the screen at the top - just above the mumsnet logo, I can only see half of the advertisement above it. Some of the ad is off the screen both vertically and horizontally which makes me think the purple buttons are also off the screen too. Bloody blackberries. Useless.

Right.....have managed to change to desk top site by switching my -fecking useless- blackberry to column view (rather than page view). Testing testing....

Flipping heck it worked!!!!! . It might be about 20 times slower than using the mobile site on this particularly wonderful device, but I will no longer look like a complete eejit on threads who can't control the post button!

It'd still be marvellous for a fix for the mobile site when you get the chance. The loading of pages on this is painfully slow....

It was me that suggested it may be something to do with mobile app. If it is do I get a prize?

Anyway, on blackberry on regular thingy not app....

A year ago, almost to the day, I started a thread about BBs double posting and suggested it was a problem with m.mumsnet and got no response.

Can you link to it? Was it in chat? If so, they go after so long I think.

Was in Site Stuff end of June last year. I found it yesterday on my PC but losing will to live trying Search on my BB. It hardly matters now anyway.
