I am supposed to be getting a new roof put on this weekend, as this one has leaked for ten years and now has bloody pigeons living in it. The roofers should be here by now, and they are not. Probably because it's pissing down, and the forecast says it will continue to do so for approximately the next twelve years.

I know it's your fault. Everything else is.

Do something, or I'm off to netmums.

They're probably forrin too...

MrsSnaplegs · 22/06/2012 10:46

LeBOF it's because you FF the pigeons instead of BF
BF pigeons don't have these behavioural issues
You can correct this with Greggs and froot shoots Grin

BigFatCushion · 22/06/2012 10:46

My pigeons wear Boden and eat organic food. We're happy to have them.

iseenodust · 22/06/2012 10:51

A truly naice area would have resident peregrine falcon meaning few bloody pigeons only bits of bone in peregrine poo.

PostBellumBugsy · 22/06/2012 10:59

LeBof, I can't believe you haven't knit your own roof. What's wrong with you woman?!

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 22/06/2012 10:59

Slattern.

MrsChemist · 22/06/2012 11:48

We have a hideous neighbour roof, which periodically throws roof tiles at us.

Our pigeons nested next to the bathroom.

Fucking voyeur pervy pigeons.

YouBrokeMySmoulder · 22/06/2012 12:24

Can you not glue the pigeons together to form one large pigeon and then wedge it into the hole?

IamtheZombie · 22/06/2012 12:29

Everyone needs the Dustbin?, Maryz. Grin

Tee2072 · 22/06/2012 12:40

Oh, honestly. I wish I had such easy problems.

Is this all you have to worry about?

I not only don't have a roof, I don't have walls or floors either.

Some people.

FFS

LeB0F · 22/06/2012 12:44

Of course it isn't ALL I have to worry about, Tee. The scaffolders have managed to knock my security light so that it angles right at my back neighbour.

OP posts:
Tee2072 · 22/06/2012 12:45

Oh now you tell us! Why didn't you put that in your OP?

What else have you left out?

[suspicious]

IamtheZombie · 22/06/2012 12:45

Security light.

Back neighbour.

This sounds familiar...

Shift · 22/06/2012 12:47

What have you all got against pigeons? pigeons are people too....

Oh Blush well, you know what I mean Blush Blush

Tee2072 · 22/06/2012 12:51

I swear, Zombie, we had this exact thread just last week.

Is the moon full?

Maryz, you want shooting for puting that second picture up. My buttocks are clenched and I saw it two minutes ago
If MNHQ are in the business of stopping rain, can they ask tech to have a look at my area? DD is doing walking day tomorrow. What fun. A mile in the rain.

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 22/06/2012 14:01

I'm walking in the rain but the sun's out. Where's my rainbow, MNHQ?

LeBof, my DF had a peregrine falcon in his garden the other day. If he sees it again I'll tell him to send it over.

Hmm

It's a tax avoidance measure, surely. Double Hmm

MrsSnaplegs · 22/06/2012 14:14

Well if I knew tech could fix weather I would ask him to have told school not to cancel sports day today as I have booked day off work - instead weather is fine if a bit windy
Now they have rearranged it for Monday when neither Snaplegs or I can go Angry
So tech can you fix that along with the roof an the pigeons?

RobinSparkles · 22/06/2012 14:21

Have you tried spraying the pigeons with fence paint? That might get rid of the buggers.

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 22/06/2012 14:24

I think LeBof should go to NetHuns, if she was a real Mnetter she would have woven a Lentil roof, and used the pigeons to feed her little darling brood whom of course eat whatever is put in front of them, and by not paying a roofer it only cost 17 pence to do the roof.

LeBof is simply not trying hard enough.
