The argument against it is that it would be confusing, but Tbh it'd be no less confusing thnn threads where every other post is deleted, of which there are many.it would just be your own, additional deletions, if you see what I mean?

Actually its just occured to me that it raises some issues about confirmation bias. You hide all the posters who are likeely to annoy you - the ones who are much more likely to disagree with you than average - and all of a sudden the sun is shining and you are right about everything.

I think there should be a right of reply function.
You get one undeletable response to wanky posts.

Or a bunfight section. So you can say 'right, let's take this over to bunfight' and continue without deletion.

But tbh I don't like block poster. I get infuriated but I like to know who the wankers are.

Oh I quite like inwardly ranting at the unbearable posters, but then I only have a couple of those. And they are mainly the ones who cannot help but include something about how fabulous/fabulously wealthy they are in every single post even if its just about dog biscuits.
