When the opening post has failed spectacularly to point out that carbon monoxide deaths can be completely avoided by tent campers by the very simple solution of NOT TAKING ANYTHING THAT BURNS INSIDE YOUR TENT.
I have messaged you several times now, and yes you have told me that you will look into it but the thread is still running and it sends out a very dangerous message.
Here is the advice (again) by the Camping and Caravanning club. They say " do not rely on a CO monitor inside a tent or awning to keep you safe ".
Please can you take heed of this by people who know what they are talking about.
The camping community do not want to see any more deaths because of people bringing their BBQs inside or even into the porch areas of their tents. The solution is NOT a CO alarm. It is leave things that burn outside and well away from your tent.
Please, please can you amend the op in the thread to make this clear.
Thank you
