I can cope with 'he's just a man' on AIBU but in Relationships it all feels a bit more serious and invested.

I really like feminism - some really good eggs on there like LRD and SGM. I like the debates to be had.

I don't believe most of the threads on relationships, which is bollocks because I have personally recieved loads of help from people on that board. But I can't be drawn into the endless streams of invented shit which I assume are written by ghastly amateur literary types.

I haven't hid any topics though, I just wander around looking at all sorts of shit like breastfeeding and childminders.

Yes, the Menz threads really shocked me too .

The relationships board makes me wonder whether I am really living in a bubble, or whether all my friends' husbands are really sleeping around/carrying spare mobiles/thumping them/controlling the money etc. But I don't think they are .

I do think, though, that if I posted about some of the things dh does (the amount of time he spends on his own interests, how little he is at home, how bad he is at "listening" to me moan), I could put a spin on him that would make everyone shout "leave the bastard". But in reality, we have a very good relationship, and have learned an awful lot of give and take (both ways) over the years.

But I think I'm way out of touch with what others think about stuff so stay out of it.
