There have always been MN quiches, and so will there always be.

If you hide the ante natal/post natal topics, there are hardly any cliques left (apart from the Nobdies but they have special dispensation as I luff them and they are my virtual children AND they have good thread titles).

And to be fair, many have hidden themselves in OTBT.

Wolefs have hidden ourselves away in OTBT but we're still very welcoming to newcomers.

Which ones are clique threads? I keep seeing them mentioned but I've never sure what the cliques are

yeah yeah the nobdies are all lovely and fluffy and everything, but why can't they put their threads in OTBT? They seem to get through a thread every couple of days and I'm booooored of having to hide 'em.

ah ok, didn't realise the nobdies were actively recruiting. Then there should be a quiche topic and new people can choose to join one and grumpy old sows like me can hide them all.

Oh come on. Actively recruiting. The off person who might go on there is nothing compared to the daily hiding.

OTBT is the best topic mnhq ever created. It is genius and would like to profess my love and thanks to mnhq for creating it. Baffles me why some of the quiche threads are still in archived topics.

The Nobdies are all about the people who feel that they are a bit lost on MN, because they are not known "Sombdies". I think it's lovely that they are so welcoming and it's good that they are "available".

Great if you interact with all of them, but I suspect that it's mainly with a regular group - a bit like a clique.

I don't interact with all the members of MN. I'm happy for the pregnant women to discuss their pregnancy piles in their quiche threads.

Oh do keep up - we are working on hq to REDUCE the number of topics so that people are more inclined to use the proper topics rather than bunging everything in aibu.
