If we could have an I love Stephen Fry emoticon that'd be GOOD. (am watching QI)

Just had to post a HEEEEEEEYYUUUUUUUUGE vote of respect to the floral fuck off.

Whoever originally did that was VERY bored and VERY clever and I love them.

Mspontipine · 27/10/2011 21:29

I

GetOrfMo1Land · 27/10/2011 21:29

I am so ENVIOUS of the floral fuck off.

I couldn't do that if I tried, it would be like partciularly complicated cross stitch.

YES sgm totally agree re the biscuit.

Mspontipine · 27/10/2011 21:30

I also

GetOrfMo1Land · 27/10/2011 21:32

I don't think I have ever eaten a pombear tbh.

OP posts:
PinotScreechio · 27/10/2011 21:34

I ate a ketchup flavoured one in France. The flavour was "Le Ketchup".

Le tossers.

GetOrfMo1Land · 27/10/2011 21:36

Hahaaaaa le ketchup.

I used to know all the words to that Las ketchup song (aserje de je de je de je etc etc) drspite not speaking a word of spanish.

I agree the bear and the biscuit should go.

They've had their 15 minutes of fame. That's all they deserve.

I do like the idea of a secret emoticon though.

Can I vote for [fuck off] which would appear on the page as Smile and you would never know if the person who posted it was telling you to [fuck off] or not. Though to be honest, with Smile it's the same thing really isn't it?

GetOrfMo1Land · 27/10/2011 21:38

Yes - the passive aggressive smiley as patented by Bonsoir.

I love it.

OP posts:
theyoungvisiter · 27/10/2011 21:40

maybe in honour of bonsoir it could be [encule toi] which results in the Smile?

DrinkYourWeakLemonDrinkNow · 27/10/2011 21:42
Bear
CoteDAzur · 27/10/2011 21:44

Kill the bear and the biscuit. Yes.

MmeLindor. · 27/10/2011 21:44

I like the secret emoticon idea. Would MNHQ email particular posters then, to let them in on the secret.

So, once you have been on MN for a year, you get a special email with the [fuck off] code.

theyoungvisiter · 27/10/2011 21:45

no - you'd just have to be bored enough to work it out.

theyoungvisiter · 27/10/2011 21:46

I have never done the [be*r]

And I'm not about to start now.

ColdSancerre · 27/10/2011 21:47

[fuckoff]
[vom]
[hth]
[Hug]

I'm going to have to check every now and then for secret smileys I haven't been told about

GetOrfMo1Land · 27/10/2011 21:49

encule toi!

Oh yes what a fantastic idea - a secret nasty emoticon. THAT conjuures up the spitir of mumsnet to me.

OP posts:
ScaredTEECat · 27/10/2011 21:52

Yes, lose the bear. The thread wasn't funny at all. I feel indifferent to the biscuit, I never use it unless I am actually offering someone a virtual Biscuit. Which I do not think was it's intention.

Feel better soon GOML.

[soft toy to cuddle for emotional support emoticon]

And the floral fuck off is fab!

Fo0ffyShmooffer · 27/10/2011 21:53

Just adding my support to all in favour of killing the bear/ wine/ cup etc.
Also I would like to ask if it's possible to adapt this Envy. Rather than envy it would have far more use as [puke]. Well from me anyway. I find it necessary to [puke] regularly. On here. Not indiscriminately.

ScaredTEECat · 27/10/2011 21:53

FFS. Its intention, obviously. ::Slaps forehead and blames wine and exhaustion::

theyoungvisiter · 27/10/2011 21:55

oo Sancerre - maybe you're right and there ARE more secret smilies we don't know about!

Right:

[netmums]
[nethuns]
[aibu]
[tits]
[soupbat]

anything working?

GetOrfMo1Land · 27/10/2011 22:03

[twat]
[cunting]
[pramhuns]
[tunapastabake]
