Work are being astonishingly OK about it - have been sent chocs and wine that I can't eat or drink, bless them. On full sick pay as well thank god.

I have run out of books. I have got to order some I think. I gave dd twenty quid to buy me some books and she bought me Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (dear god that was boring), a Jodi Piccoult book (cries) and a book about Bletchley Park which is rather dry.
