Talk to us about discounts - who else would you like to have a discount from via MN?

We know from discussions most of you love a discount and with this is mind, we're currently working on expanding the list of companies and brands Mumsnetters get exclusive discounts with.

So now we'd like to know - in an ideal world - and in a real world - which would be the top companies, brands, services that you'd like to get a discount from. Please also state what kind of discount is realistically appealing. No promises or anything....

What i'd really, really like is a just a flat discount for any large retail chain. What i cannot bear is 10% discount on specific items, usually with caveats. I'd actually rather have a flat 5% off everything with no side conditions.

Also Gullivers theme parks please .

You can always politely ask for a discount, I do it all the time. Lion in the Sun were talking about some swimming goggles on their facebook page (www.lioninthesun.com for those of you who haven't heard of them!) and I made a comment asking if they would offer a discount and hey presto! They came straight back and put a 20% discount on for a week. It's usually the smaller independent companies who will do this, I got a 15% discount off one of the cloth nappy companies last year and 10% from a babysitting service and lots of time I have got free post. So always pays to ask!
