Dark version of MN for reading in the dark

Is this a really daft/difficult to implement idea?

I am lying next to DH, MNing on my iPhone and he is grumbling that I am disturbing him. On both twitter and kindle apps I can switch to dark screen with white text when I use phone in bed.

Is this something that might be possible for the iPhone app or the mobile site?

And can we call it Stealth Mode?

I'd second LeninGrad in a request for the option for desktop PCs.

LG - in the past I used the NASA theme for Firefox but there's one called Office Black which is a bit subdued for the FF menu bars etc... I don't remember whether FF has an 'accessibility' option to change to white on black (aimed at people with sight problems) though I must admit I develop most of my web sites as white (or sometimes light blue or yellow, bit like the old CEEFAX) on black, for readability.
