St George's Day - can we have a dragon please?

OK - we've had the daffodil (for days) - we had the shamrock (for one day only, why was that exactly?Hmm) - please can we have a dragon for St. George's Day, even if it is also Easter Saturday so will be surrounded by bunny-eared emoticons - PURRRRLLLLEEEEEASE??

I'm starting early because it might take a while to get a nice dragon done...

More support for a green dragon here! Roses are too yorks/lancs whereas a dragon is for everybody.

Don't recall St. David killin' any dragons, think that might have been St. George, acksherly. So don't really think that argument holds any water at all.

It's only a matter of time before someone starts demanding a kebab emoticon. I might start a campaign for a Giant Hadron Collider emoticon. Or a cat.

Neither did St George - the dragon is fictitious. Wales, however, have an ackshual dragon on the flag. So if anyone should have had a dragon, it should have been the Welsh.

You can have a plant, like we had, and like it.

So no. We should get the dragon cos it's St. George's Day and St.George and the Dragon go together.

you get a dragon all year round on your flag. Mean of you to begrudge us one day with one! Shock

Just like to add that the Sunday after Easter is called 'Low Sunday', and yes please, a proper dragon - or why not the St George's flag?
