One minute there's too many, now there's too few. You MNers are hard to satisfy at times. I could put the Classic view of TIO up to 10 replies, would that be a suitable compromise?

And who whinged about there being 18? 18 was fine; actually, 12 would be good... could we have 12 instead of 10? After all, 18 was pretty random...

Actually, the limit was 99, which I'm sure you'll agree was a tad much! For most threads that wouldn't be a problem of course, but some users had issues when there was survey threads and the like that quickly accumulated tons of replies.

As a fix we reduced the limit to 5 as that is how it appears on MN Modern, but if the legions of Classic users would prefer a bit more scope, we can up the limit a bit more. Obviously, we just want everyone to reach a happy compromise! Or is that being too idealist?

But I LIKE Classic and therefore would definitely prefer more to show - I like the idea of 12 but would settle for 10 if that's the best you can offer...
