I see we have a new wine glass emoticon! Jolly good! But some of us would prefer a good old cup of tea.

Do you think you could cater for the likes of us too?

Lots of love,

Norman x

LadyPumpington · 04/02/2011 21:39

Uh oh don't think it was a good idea recruiting usual...how about if we add a drop or two of the strong stuff usual?

GrimmaTheNome · 04/02/2011 21:43

SO, we're girls.

we want 'The cup that cheers but does not inebriate' as my mother used to say.

Cos you can't drink Wine all day.

GrimmaTheNome · 04/02/2011 21:45

But looking at the time...

[cocoa] ?

usualsuspect · 04/02/2011 21:46

cocoa with a slug of baileys in it is ok

LadyPumpington · 04/02/2011 21:48

How about we want the cup that cheers us up?

Usual I'll pour.

timetosmile · 04/02/2011 21:51

Dear MN Towers,

Please may we have a cup of tea emoticon?

(Not too strong, Fair Trade of course, quite milky for me.)

If it's in a generic, stubby mug, it could be coffee too, or hot chocolate...

Liver disease is on a massive upward trend at the moment - do your bit for the Big Society - offer a viable alternative.

[tea] [cuppa] [cupoftea] [nice sit down] Brew

sigh...

MosEisley · 04/02/2011 21:52

Another vote for Norman and and a _/) emoticon.

usualsuspect · 04/02/2011 21:54

LadyPumpington · 04/02/2011 21:54

Tikkabillajive · 04/02/2011 21:54

Whoa! I think this thread is having a subliminal effect! DH just appeared in the doorway and said 'Do you fancy a cuppa?'

Spooky.

LadyPumpington · 04/02/2011 21:55

That's the spirit usual! Come on show em who's boss.

LadyOfTheManor · 04/02/2011 21:56

How about a coffee bean? No? No one?

Ok

baskingseals · 04/02/2011 21:58

yes me too cup of tea please

NormanTheForeman · 04/02/2011 21:59

But maybe the bear would like a cup of tea? I don't particularly want to get rid of the bear - just have a tea/coffee/other hot beverage cup emoticon....

usualsuspect · 04/02/2011 22:01

LadyPumpington · 04/02/2011 22:01

The bears gotta go...

NormanTheForeman · 04/02/2011 22:07

Aaaaawwww, we like bears in Playmoland. In particular there is a little girl called Lucy (in one of the airport sets) who has a teddy bear. She is very attached to said teddy. We don't like to see them disappear! Shock

A mug surely - a cup is too tiny and goes cold too quickly whilst administering to needs of 4 yr old and 5 mnth old.
My grandma always said "when things get your back up - tea revives you". This is now my mantra and I use it to justify my 10-20 mug a day habit!
