I see we have a new wine glass emoticon! Jolly good! But some of us would prefer a good old cup of tea.

Do you think you could cater for the likes of us too?

Hey Norman guess what? My ds just came from school and was playing with something in his room, I went in to put clothes in his wardrobe and asked him what are you doing? He said I'm playing with my playmobil mum. I froze and said playmobil? And sure enough he had his pirate set out which I forgot was playmobil! I feel so stupid not knowing I have playmobil in the house, so Norman you are not alone in the world of plastic. Your extended family's in my house!

I'm definitely not alone - quite a few people on here have Playmobil, including stealthsquiggle, belgo, Franca, Slubberdegullion, ChippyMinton, Tikkabillajive etc. It's nice to know there are a few of us around....

Stig - that's a sore point in this household. DB and I had playmobil knights back in the late 70's - and they have disappeared. I wanted to introduce DC's playmobil to their ancestors and they can't be found. I suspect DB foul play.

Stealth - not good. I'm fairly sure I know where ours is but it's not in this country (lived abroad, family still do) so I can't get the '70s generation. I remember having a colour your own set too, was all plain white with a set of indelible marker pens. None of that set, hospital iirc, ever sported a good look :o

I'm afraid SoMuch is so old that Playmobil didn't arrive until she was about 13. So my mates and I are the first generation of Playmobil in our family.

Must go and check how voting is going...
