I'd like to add my annoyance to this as well.

I know I log in on other computers sometimes, occasionally it is the laptop, or sometimes me netbook, or occasionally my phone when I am out. But that doesn't mean I want to have to log in Every. Single. Fricking. Time I use another piece of equipment.

I used to be able to use the pc and then the phone without havign to relog into the laptop the next time, whay can't I anymore?

Ilythia · 16/11/2010 20:43

me netbook? see how annoyed I amGrin

Ilythia · 18/11/2010 17:04

Am still annoyed btw.

Over the last 24 hours I have had to log in 5 times. Can you not set it so you aren't automatically logged out when you log in via another method?

mummylin, can I ask you to ensure that the "Remember me until I log out" checkbox is ticked when you log in, and let us know if it's still logging you out?

MoreTrampThanVamp · 22/11/2010 10:19

It logged me out while I was reading a pge this morning Hmm

mummylin2495 · 22/11/2010 12:39

I am still getting logged out when I log on by another means, but using the same wifi connection. What's that about?!

mummylin2495 · 23/11/2010 10:36

same thing this morning, what on earth is going on ?

AdamTech · 23/11/2010 10:43

Between logging in and being logged out, are you using other devices? When you log in on the first computer are you ticking the "remember me" box or not, and likewise when you log in on the second computer are you ticking the "remember me" box?

Can I also ask you to give your current cookie accept/reject and deletion settings, by checking the appropriate part of your browser's preferences?

mummylin2495 · 23/11/2010 12:42

No i am only using my computer,I have the box ticked to remember me but it isnt. i will check the cookies

OP posts:
mummylin2495 · 23/11/2010 12:50

Im not really sure what i am doing with this cookie thing, but i went to the place you have said slider was in the middle, clicked on default and typed mumsnet in the box then clicked allow.ive probably done the wrong thing but im not at all technical and have no clue as to what i should of done !

Ilythia · 23/11/2010 19:51

I am using other things to log in and ticking the remember me box each time as I want it to remember me!

Monty27 · 26/11/2010 00:23

I get kicked out all the time as well even when I've ticked the 'keep me logged in' box. It drives me nuts Biscuit

mummylin2495 · 27/11/2010 11:47
