FGS up until yesterday I managed to get by without even knowing what Kate Whatsherface looked like. Now I'm in danger of finding out every dull detail about her and William.

I have no interest in the Royals whatsoever and am a bit pissed off to see so many threads in active convos about them.

Me too, Sops. Thought for the Day on R4 this morning, John Pinar before PMQ on R5, world service (where I keep fleeing to in vain), it's like a mass conspiracy to constantly mention it on the airwaves, blech.

I am crossing my fingers that it will die down in 3 days and then coverage will not build up again for another 4 months. BBC are going to get heaps of complaints about how much air time has been given over to aspects of this event already.

I totally agree, I'm so incredibly bored of clicking on threads thinking "oh that looks interesting" only to find it is yet another thread about the wedding.

Please, please, please make a new topic that I can hide. I'm bored with it already and can only hope they go for an early spring wedding to get the whole circus over with as soon as possible.

I have hidden so many threads today. It's not that I mind people wanting to talk about it but more that there are so many threads repeating the same thing, like all the ones about it being her MIL's ring etc.

My hide button has never seen so much action. But I am being nice and not posting scathing remarks all over the hundreds of threads.

i wish the couple well, i really do. but i have no desire to spend the next 6 months having the active convos page full to burstiong with tedious threads about what she will wear, how much money is to be stolen from the tax payer and wasted spent on the wedding, what di would have thought, is she really middle class etc etc and boreing frikkin etc.
