It would be used on awkward or angry threads in an attempt to diffuse the situation.

Sorry - I vote against it.

The only people who will know what it means will be the people who were on that particular thread ( tiny % of m'netters )

Threads come and go - in a few weeks the bonkers couple thread will be a distant memory...to be replaced by another 'classic'.

scottishmummy · 13/11/2010 17:02

no its cliquey.like the daft bat

daftpunk · 13/11/2010 17:11

Plus I didn't think the thread was particularly funny - ( must be me????... I dunno)

daftpunk · 13/11/2010 17:24

You saying I'm cliquey SM ?

scottishmummy · 13/11/2010 17:28

StealthPomBear · 13/11/2010 17:40

so I assume all you anti pom-bearers were also anti-biscuit?

daftpunk · 13/11/2010 17:50

SM - I was joking with you...

Yes, I am also anti - biscuit. Have never used it and never will.

I don't want to pour cold water over the frivolities - it's just the bonkers couple thread sounded like a bad episode of my family.

StealthPomBear · 13/11/2010 18:04

Shock how can you be anti-biscuit??

daftpunk · 13/11/2010 18:16

What has my life become...? I'm discussing my dislike of biscuit smileys with a stranger...

scottishmummy · 13/11/2010 18:52

Horton · 13/11/2010 18:58

Is your husband called Chopsy?

daftpunk · 13/11/2010 19:28

SM - tbh, I gave up about half way through. Couldn't handle all the " I'm crying with laughter "...
Laughing at what? .... all these people are on drugs...that's what I thought.

It wasn't funny - at all.

flyingzebra · 13/11/2010 19:31

I'm with you daftpunk - I kept scrolling back through the thread to find the funny bits that I apppeared to have missed.

OK, so that's three against.....lots.

In years to come, people will see the bear as a peace keeping symbol.

I'm going with the majority on this thread and voting yes!

(Nettie- I only recently noticed that too. I honestly thought Biscuit meant cat's bum face. Still not sure what cat's bum face means.)
