Please could we have a "Pom bear, anyone?" smiley?

It would be used on awkward or angry threads in an attempt to diffuse the situation.

But I am KING of the PomBears

(Images in my head involving David Bowie, Tights, Pom Bears and glass BALLS)

Confused
Teaandcakeplease · 12/11/2010 21:08

Adding my name to the campaign. Please mumsnet?

thatsnotmymonkey · 12/11/2010 21:11

Great thread, love it! I might host a slightlyjaded dinner party in your honour

NotShortImPomBearSized · 12/11/2010 21:15

Jareth & Rapunzel They're fab Grin

NotShortImPomBearSized · 12/11/2010 21:17

And as for the winning flavour, definitely cheese & onion, every time.

JarethThePomBearKing · 12/11/2010 21:28
Grin

I've never had the C&O PomBear (does that warrant a slightly different emoticon, perhaps tinged slightly green??] am I missing anything?

SheWillBeLoved · 12/11/2010 21:35

All worship the POMBEAR!

Pretty please MNHQ :) take back to dodgy biscuit if you must!

androbbob · 12/11/2010 21:52

Hurry up!! We need PomBear icons - will be getting some tomorrow now - red and green ones.

PyramidofScotcheggs · 12/11/2010 21:57

PomBear is needed, and much better than the biscuit.
The biscuit is a Jammy Dodger. All cheap wheat and nasty jam.

Pombears are much better, and less jammy.

glitterati · 12/11/2010 22:21

can't find pom bears here in the US (12 months of withdrawal symptons) so an emoticon is the next best thing...er kind of...yes vote

AandRMum · 12/11/2010 22:57

yes yes yes!

PomBearGrylls · 12/11/2010 23:00

Can't believe this one was free Grin

NotShortImPomBearSized · 12/11/2010 23:01

ROFL!

Very fitting Grin

ChoccieDoodleyAdventCalender · 12/11/2010 23:03

I want a pom bear, am off to namechange.

DoodlingPomBear · 12/11/2010 23:06

I'm back......do you recognise me.

On a serious note, MNHQ please please give us a bear shaped emoticon! We could have red, green and blue ones!

JarethThePomBearKing · 12/11/2010 23:06

Is there anything you can't buy on Amazon?

DoodlingPomBear · 12/11/2010 23:09

Jareth - loving the £3.93 postage on pom bears, they can't weigh more than 25gGrin

PomBearMartini · 12/11/2010 23:23

The PomBear Martini is all the rage amongst the glitterati this festive season.

Mostly vodka, a whisper of vermouth and several PomBears ... perched on a decorative skewer thingy so they don't get soggy.

PomBearMartini · 12/11/2010 23:36

MNHQ, how about making it a special limited-edition Christmas emoticon? You need not let us keep it forever, it's just capturing the Pom zeitgeist. Maybe swap it for the biscuit for a while, and then there is no risk of cluttering things up with too many smiley options.

CakeandRoses · 12/11/2010 23:41

Crowns SPB and slightlyjaded.

justine it just needs to be a bears face with [bear-shaped snack anyone?] as the typing thingy

CakeandRoses · 12/11/2010 23:42

ah but pombearmartini - pombears and biscuits have opposite powers

chipmonkey · 12/11/2010 23:56

Signing here![pombear]

TheNoodlesIncident · 13/11/2010 00:40

A PomBear is for keeps, not just for Christmas

I hadn't heard of PomBears before and imagined something sweet like Percy Pig. Now I find it's more like an Organix product. Not disappointing though... we need PomBear emoticon, please!

WildPansy · 13/11/2010 00:42

Signing here for the PomBear emoticon. That thread made my sides hurt even before the return invitation.

YeahBut · 13/11/2010 00:43

Yes to Pom emoticon!
Bear face with [pom] or [moretea]
