You seemed to be quite, erm, agitated and I didn't want to say the wrong thing. I'm amazed, frankly, that anyone is out ticketing at all after about 6pm.

I did think about suggesting that perhaps the ticketer (for want of a better word) was distracted by the fireworks but thought you might not appreciate it...
