I think some people register just to win the comps, I've seriously never heard of some of them.

There should be a rule, you can only enter a competition if you've been posting weekly for the past month!

Ive so far managed to have one of my threads in the daily discussions, Ive had a message deleted for being abusive, ive been in the round-up a few times. Im no where near witty enough for quote of the week. Im also hoping for a classics some day soon, tis my main ambition, I can then rest and think about early retirement.

Oh! I think you might have to check your emails first to see if you have been sent one by the blog people - then you can decide whether or not you want it to appear. I seem to remember that's what I had to do when I had comments on mine. :)

oo-er - dunno what happened then! I definitely commented on one, clicked submit, did the stupid "write these two words so we know you're not a spammer", it all seemed to work - wonder why you can't see it?

Well. I have left another, it has submitted ok, no one has complained - so see if this one gets through to you. Am most as to what's going on.
