Does anyone have a slow cooker? And are they any good?

Is it just stewy casserole stuff that you can make?

Has anyone got a recipe for a curry I can make in the slow cooker that is mild enough for my mild curry eating 2 year old.

Does anyone have the 6.5 litre Morphy Richards slow cooker?

I have just received mine this morning and the crock pot rocks when in the base - is this meant to happen or is it supposed to be a firm fit?

splodge of korma curry paste (i use patak's), tin tomatoes, tin coconut milk, lots of veg/chicken or other meat, our storecupboard standby

I don't do curries any more - the whole house smells for days when it's been cooking all day in the slow cooker.
Just made a fab beef casserole though, wouldn't be without it! We use it all winter and it sits in the cupboard during summer.

We've been thinking of getting one, and I saw on Amazon a 6.5 litre (I think) one that was divided into 2 separate compartments, so you could cook 2 different things at once - anyone used these, or got any views on them?

Did anyone get a pop up when they looked at that site QofQ posted saying they had won money? I did and know my computer says it may be infected with spyware (or something along those lines).
