What is your 5 year old ds' favourite toy?

I am looking for inspiration for ds' birthday for presents from us and relations. I think by the age of 5 they have so many things .... I wondered about a swingball set for the garden - does anyone know if they are any good? Also is the Imaginext batcave a 5 minute wonder? All suggestions gratefully appreciated!

Lego, lego and lego. To get the most fun from it (he is 6 now), he must have lego men, many many men.

I bought a zoob set for christmas and that's had lots of use, does say 6 and up but I think a 5yo would be fine (ds1 just turned 6). When he did turn 5 a magic set from amazon was the most popular present by far and still gets some use (the one with the rabbit & wand).
