Can I buy a special laptop tray to stop my legs from burning up?

When I am not wearing much.

Like now.

The laptop is so hot and I have a blanket under it, but that's making me hot too. I use pillows sometimes but they wobble.

I know I should have it on a table, but that is not comfy.

Maybe I could use those trays that have the cushion attached. The ones you're meant to eat your dinner off whilst watching tv!

I am aware I am answering my own question!!

dizzymare · 06/08/2009 21:31

Belkin sell a laptop tray with a built in usb fan, so it cools the laptop down as well as keeping it off your legs. I got mine from PC World, and I think it was about £20

princessmel · 06/08/2009 21:32

I have the ikea one too. It has a little pocket on the side for (I presume) a mobile phone... Don't put a mobile phone in there (on silent) and then forget and tear your house apart to look for it

princessmel · 10/08/2009 10:13

lol

ok!

1mum1 · 11/08/2009 14:04

If I'm in bed (lazy cow) on my laptop then I use the ikea fold out tray as it's raised on a stand. It's very light weight and cheap too. I'll try and find you a link...can't find it online but it basically has pull out legs so it doesn't touch your own legs.

Hope this helps.
