Does anyone know if you can take the Dazzle covers off and wash them?

Also has anyone had a Combi Dash DX, Bebecar Rversus or Inglesina Ottuto?

sweetkitty, i'd start a dispute for item not as described

i can get you a v3 one in pink, all workin
g etc for £60 + courier

sweetkitty · 17/03/2009 16:37

Thanks am waiting on her response to my e-mail, hopefully she will say send it back to me for a refund, but I'm still £££s out for the couriers. Ah well put it down to experience.

Thanks misdee but if she does take it back I think I will go straight to M&P for a BN one, DD3 is only 8 months so I will get my wear out of it.

nicolamumof3 · 17/03/2009 16:40

Good idea SK i'd get new too, they are doing offer with all the acc's atm too. she should refund postage as well tbh if it goes to paypal dispute. then just find cheapy courier £8 one to send back to her.

nicolamumof3 · 17/03/2009 16:40

oh and if she says no, just say you will have to open paypal dispute as not as described!!

nappyaddict · 17/03/2009 16:47

Shame you will lose out on packing it up and posting it back though

I presume you couldn't see the pushchair very close up on the listing?

sweetkitty · 17/03/2009 17:03

Will post link later, I know rookie error I am a donut

However, I do think you shouldn't C&P a spec from a newer pram than the one you are selling, that in itself is wrong.

pebbles79 · 17/03/2009 20:15

Evening everyone, where are you all?! Sweetkitty, that's a shame about your Luna .

I've got more than half the money towards a Skate and should hopefully have the rest for next week - so excited!! Trying to make up the money without selling my Luna so make sure I like it first.

sweetkitty · 17/03/2009 22:19

Quiet in here tonight where is everyone?

nappyaddict · 18/03/2009 01:14

Holloe girls, sorry to crash in on your thread, but wondered if I could ask you something?

I am selling a ppushchair on ebay, and have been very honest in my listing, as you are!

The back brake on one side does not work, but it has a brake on the handel bar for the front wheel.

I have just had a strange question from another ebay user....

Is this being sold as 'spares or repairs' due to the lacking major safety feature of NO BRAKES? The front brake, as everyone knows who owns a *, is effectively useless. Ebay may pull this listing for safety regs.

I am breaking some safety regulation?

Thanks

misdee · 18/03/2009 07:32

tell them you are selling it as described.

brakes can be fixed.

can you link to the item number?

nicolamumof3 · 18/03/2009 08:05

exactly you are listing as described, no worries. lots of strange ebayers out there!!

Divvy · 18/03/2009 08:09

Not allowed to am I?

Divvy · 18/03/2009 08:13

She has got me worried though!!

But its not like its a motorised vehicle, that needs a brake by law?

I have looked at a new part that its needs and its £26...should I take it off ebay get it fixed then re-list it.

or...add to my listing how much the new part is?

Disenchanted3 · 18/03/2009 08:22

Can anyone help me?

Im trying to get through to send it now,

they have not replied to my emails, when I phone them its automated and no option to speak to anyone real.

when i try and fill in the help form i put the tracking number in but it says its not right, its the one they gave me!

I want a refund because they never went to SGKs yesterday and shes kindly taken it straight to the post office for me.

misdee · 18/03/2009 08:42

yes divvy, link to it, and will check it over for you

sal1309 · 18/03/2009 08:44

morning all

divvy as long as your describing it correctly i cant see the problem. If you post your link to it the ladies with more experiance selling on ebay will probably be able to help

Dis sorry cant help you as ive never used them

lillypie · 18/03/2009 08:52

Morning everyone

Had a look at the send it now site Dis but it looks like you are doing everything that it will let you.

I had a problem with parcel2go not turning up on Monday but at least they had operators on line to chat too.

misdee · 18/03/2009 09:08

it clearly states the issue.

however you are more likely to get more money if you get the brake fixed. it could be worth the £26 as you are likely to get more in the lonmg run

Divvy · 18/03/2009 09:13

ok thanks

nicolamumof3 · 18/03/2009 09:19

morning...again! just took nipper out. love it even more now! so damn light its fab.

nicolamumof3 · 18/03/2009 09:37

got someone coming to look at luna mix today off ebay woohoo!

SparklyGothKat · 18/03/2009 10:19

dis this is the email I used when I wanted a refund

[email protected]

I tried to phone you.

sweetkitty · 18/03/2009 10:29

Morning all

Nicola - glad you like the nipper

Dis - hope you sort out senditnow

Well where we are now is that seller has offered me £30 refund (I paid £55 for it) or I can courier it back to her, more tempted to courier it back TBH as it means I get rid of it and I get about £10 more back so thats what I think I will do.

Took DD3 out in our ancient XT this morning and have forgotten how easy it is, one chick practically and it's unfolded, it's absolutely fine covers etc it's just the brakes are starting to get a bit dodgy and it feels rickety now.

Still don't know what to get next, like the Luna, like the Zapp, like a XT, oh I am rubbish!
