Eve4Walle · 10/02/2009 15:59

I want a rear-facing parm for DS, he's 12 months now but would like to see him when were are out and about.

I have a Pliko P3 Pramette but would love a Buzz/Loola or similar.

Can someone tell me if you need a replacement seat for the Buzz once they get bigger, and from what age please? Can't seem to find any info on line....

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/02/2009 16:09

Buzz comes highly recommended by a few people and MrsMagoo is the person who knows about the toddler seat.
Loola is not as poular amongst the posters here as it is heavy and has the reputation for being hard to get up kerbs especially with a toddler.
Hopefully someone who knows more will be along shortly.
Meanwhile I can heartily recommend the britax vigour 3. I had one for a while with DD3 who is 2.4. Loved it. If you prefer 4 wheelers you might like the vigour 4.
Some folks also like the Hauck infinity.

elmoandella · 10/02/2009 16:11

i hated my buz\z. literally fell to bits.

elmoandella · 10/02/2009 16:12

anyone near here B63 3LY. won a pushschair but couldn't get it to retract bid when seller decided they couldn't wait in for courier all day

Maclaren · 10/02/2009 16:13

Hi Eve I wouldnt go for a loola as they get very heavy when the baby gets older. with the Buzz it depends on what model you get the older version like this just needs the one seat the newer version needs the XL seat from about 18 depending on your DS size if you get it new it should come with the XL seat as they now come with them I think its the 06-07 models that dont but you can always pick up an XL seat from ebay or deom Dorel who are the supplier

nappyaddict · 10/02/2009 16:17

I'm near there elmo.

elmoandella · 10/02/2009 16:21

it's this

never thought i'd actually win at that price. only wanted it for a nosey

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/02/2009 16:29

Ooh elmoandella you are on a roll. that looks interesting.

elmoandella · 10/02/2009 16:31

i've sent seller an email to ask if he can leave with a relative or neighbour to be collected.

nappyaddict · 10/02/2009 16:39

If all this was going on I would collect it for you but I don't really have the time at the moment. If he will hold onto if for you I might be able to but I couldn't say when.

elmoandella · 10/02/2009 16:44

no worries nappy. i understand your under pressure at the mo

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2009 16:45

just got back from test run with xlr!

it is big! but its going to be because the seat is so much bigger than the xt. i love it, luka loves it too! like the fabrics better than the xt and the liners nice and the footboot so im happy and it cost me less than xt!

will deffo keep zapp tho now it hink (was thinking of selling the obaby OR the zapp) but the xt is sooo big folded!

nappyaddict · 10/02/2009 16:52

is the xlr a bit heavier to push than the xt do you think?

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2009 17:02

hi nappy hows your ds?

yes a bit but not like a real pita heavy, i think the pro's outweigh it really as such a nice lovely seat nappy. i don't know if i'd like lifting it on/off a bus much but i don't do that so not a problem for me. i love it much prefer to either my black or grey xt. and you can pick up the 08 ones really resonably (i preferred the candy stripe stripes on the xt and wanted choc/blue) v.happy. just feel guilty im selling obaby as was really impressed with that for the money.

nappyaddict · 10/02/2009 17:03

Just put an update on the other thread if you want to have looksy. i love the choc/blue one too but seems to be more choc/pink on ebay.

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2009 17:06

yes you do see them around alot more. how much you looking to spend on one nappy?

elmoandella · 10/02/2009 17:12

seller of maxi coi is being arsey. says i must pay before they will even ask if anyone willing to wait in for courier.

i've said just to relist and if they can find someone to wait in for courier and offer that service then they will make more than the £21.01 i won it for.

hoping they will see that as a better option as they'll make more money and i can get out of situation.

i may even be really nice and offer to cover relist fees as its my fault if they aren't cheeky again with their reply.

nappyaddict · 10/02/2009 17:16

can't they give a second chance offer to the other bidder?

elmoandella · 10/02/2009 17:21

yeah. and other bid as only 2 bids was only 1p less than mine

nappyaddict · 10/02/2009 17:24

suggest that aswell cos i think it's free to offer to the other bidder.

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/02/2009 17:41

opinions on this please.I like the colours and the price.

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2009 18:11

i like the wheels thats about it im afraid dunoon!!

im strangely attracted to my obaby. just took lambskin off and packed it away ready to sell. dp's said look just keep it for the £40 you are going to make its not worth it and he's right. so its all packed away safely wrapped up now in shed.

i've got my trusty maclaren, my mini fold zapp and my p&t which i really am considering selling only because of the weight would prefer a mb. but would have to sell zapp as well and obaby prob. that might make me £350??

nicolamumof3 · 10/02/2009 18:12

elmo i think what you've said is fair enough really.
