any one know what this is like?

I am waiting for mothercare to get this back in.

Decided to not go for the other pram and stick with my big one as although its heavy it keeps dd2 lovely and warm and can sit up and face you or away so will keep it and get a buggy for when she is bigger.

nicolamumof3 · 07/02/2009 13:08

i would think you can get that quest mod cheaper and in stock elsewhere possibly as its an 08 design jenwa.

I think onelittlelion was selling a coffee triumph before dunoon if that helps?

thanks knickers you are much more helpful then uncommunicative ebay seller. i won't undo the argos buggy in case it needs to go back, but im doubtful it will arrive now. Just spoken to my wanky landlord who doesn'tseem to think fixing our cooker is a high priority we haven't had it working since monday!!!

jenwa · 07/02/2009 13:21

OK, I have looked but not really sure where else do the Quest mod in that colour. Will have see if can find.

Did like the beep in pink though but thanks for info on one selling. Are they any good?

jenwa · 07/02/2009 13:26

sorry just realised the coffee triumph you meant was not the same as beep! sorry, just juggling crying baby and 3yr old at same time!

nicolamumof3 · 07/02/2009 13:31

lol no worries jenwa. i haven't seen that colour mod either im afraid.

sal1309 · 07/02/2009 16:14

Hello ladies You seem to be the ones to ask about this kind of thing. I am thiking about buying a cheap buggy from a friend, it's just what we need but the harness is broken- two of the prongy bits have snapped off iyswim. Its a montain buggy, possibly about 4 or 5 years old but otherwise good nick. Can this be replaced? Could I do it myself or am I looking at a huge bill?

SparklyGothKat · 07/02/2009 18:55

if its the shoulder straps then they can be replaced for £4 each from MB, if its the other straps then I am not sure, but if you want you can buy replacement covers for £90 new from MB or look for second hand ones on ebay

flame17 · 07/02/2009 19:02

Hi
Has anyone tried a Silver cross fizz?
I'm undecided between the Fizz or Volo

davidbowiescodpiece · 07/02/2009 19:05

SparklyGothKat, do you think another make would fit? I am hoping it is a £4 repair, as I could stretch to that but I don't fancy having to replace the whole set of covers

nicolamumof3 · 07/02/2009 19:08

do they not have d rings on the fabric or harness where you could attach your own new harness of any make??

flame, i was thinking about this before, i would go volo as has lifetime warranty, just looks and feels nicer quality don't like the light grey handles on fizz looks like they would dirty v.fast.

flame17 · 07/02/2009 19:16

Thanks Nicola, I think I will go for the volo (raspberry & black) and stop faffing about or knowing my luck it will disappear! I have seen it for just under £60

nicolamumof3 · 07/02/2009 19:24

good price go for it, will be so much nicer im sure flame!

hazygirl · 07/02/2009 19:25

npg1 · 07/02/2009 19:27

Has anyone had a Jane Matrix before? I am interested to know if my small 2 yr old would fit in it just for using on the powertrack I have? I read somewhere up to 13kg and she is only 10kg. Would she look silly?!

SexyLacyKnickersOnMaHead · 07/02/2009 19:27

www.buggysnuggle.co.uk have some lovely large cosytoes that fit up to age 3.

flame17 · 07/02/2009 19:33

hazygirl You can get stay put blankets that attach to the frame, have a look on Ebay

hazygirl · 07/02/2009 19:45

SexyLacyKnickersOnMaHead · 07/02/2009 19:50

Hazy, I have a nice one for sale

nicolamumof3 · 07/02/2009 19:50

oh bless her hazy girl, i've just bought a stayput off ebay and am very impressed but a buggysnuggle is lovely too, and would keep the seat of the buggy cosy for her as well.

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/02/2009 19:54

npg1 I think either elmoandella or horsemadgal are the ones you need for te matrix advice.

had an offer of £190 for jane but think I'll hold out for more. just not sure how much more and if I should counter or decline.

hazygirl · 07/02/2009 19:55

what colour do you have

SexyLacyKnickersOnMaHead · 07/02/2009 20:00
