Forgot to say nicola would be interested in the silver comfort pack for my XT. Would have pennies available on Friday if you don't sell it before then.

sal1309 · 14/01/2009 12:48

omg how strange is this cgi.ebay.co.uk/Runabout-triplet-pram_W0QQitemZ260346795295QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Baby_BabyTravel_Push chairsGL?hash=item260346795295&trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A10|39%3A1|240%3A1318

claret1980 · 14/01/2009 12:51

It does look really strange. They do have a lot of things like that in US though. Would get lots of attention with it!

mamadiva · 14/01/2009 12:52

I just clicked on that somewhere ele I think... wasn't it on tis thread?

Except it was a hell of a lot cheaper at £29.99 LOL.

pushchair · 14/01/2009 12:53

i linked to another one of those earlier lol.
Just though maclaren footmuff might be ok for DD3 because they lok like they come down to footrest.

mamadiva · 14/01/2009 12:56

LOL don't suppose anyone has a maclaren liner they want rid of do they? Or know of one that will fit it?

sal1309 · 14/01/2009 12:56

lol

maclaren my friend might be interested in footmuff and cacoon if you decide to sell seperatly let me know a price and ill let her know

claret1980 · 14/01/2009 12:58

My XT footmuff is a 2008 one and it just fit ds1 in when he was just over 2. Had to get a buggysnuggle for him with the P&T though and it should last him for a bit yet.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 14/01/2009 13:01

Thanks ladies, I did think the wheels on the Cybex Ruby looked small and flimsy - reminded me of very very old Maclarens! but it's very pretty still

mamadiva · 14/01/2009 13:02

Aah will defo leave footmuff then DS is only 2 and a half andtoo big for a buggysnuggle

There are Obaby liners on Ebay might get one of these I thought that the red side would look lovely on XT with black comfort pack if it'll fit obviously. I love red and black

Maclaren · 14/01/2009 13:04

I dont think the seller is going to refund me any or get the parts they are now saying there is nothing wrong with it and that they used the wheel like it etc so i have ordered them anyway as it needs them!

So it now stands me in £200 think I may ebay the lot that think I may get more that way having looked am going to ask £350 for the lot!

Right off to do house work have one of Max's friends home for tea so need to make the house look nice

OP posts:
mamadiva · 14/01/2009 13:09

But she obviously knew there was something wrong when she said about new covers

And I guess it explains why you got it so cheap!

I hate people like that if it doesn't work don't sell it!!! Or atleast list it clearly to say so!

Aslong as you are still profitting from it Mac thats something I guess.

pushchair · 14/01/2009 13:22

Wonder what this will go up to.

claret1980 · 14/01/2009 13:23

You should get a good profit on it Maclaren. I bought my P&T Sport in October and it came with doubles seat, 2 raincovers and a hangbag for £297 inc postage. I thought that was quite good. I had to buy my cocoon separately which cost £25. I still need to get a footmuff when ds2 gets in his seat.

You could get maybe near £400 for the lot.

Have just advertised the Alpine XT so hopefully may get some interest. Really fancy a Baby jogger mini now.

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 13:41

its an e3 i think claret but yes will still make a profit.

people like that really get my back up tho, it doesn't matter what you paid for it if its not as listed they should sort it out.

just had a half decent offer on toro £150 so i've countered £179! i wonder if they can counter back as would be happy to accept somewhere between that!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 13:46

oh mama and i'd get that liner it should fit no probs, good price.

MrsMagooo · 14/01/2009 13:51

That's better then the £101 offer eh Nicola

May have someone locally interested in buying the Dreami - she's coming to look at this evening

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 13:53

i think this is even better, even if you use it as a liner?

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 13:55

thats good mrs.m, keep my fingers crossed for you.
i fancy one of those footmuffs i've just linked to. once i've got some paypal funds!! got so many bits of pieces of luka's to sell but no ones selling.

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 13:55

buying even!

Maclaren · 14/01/2009 14:07

ohh good stuff that could be one sold then crossing fingers and toes

I will clean it up change the axle (umm will have to find out how first) bleach the wheels, black up the paint with metal paint pen change the hubcaps and handle bar and it will be ready to go will take me a day to get it all nice I think! also the lady is willing to go halves on the parts so getting a £20 refund which I am happy with!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 14:09

thats not bad then maclaren if she's given you £20 back. good for you. i neeeeeeed to sell a few bits as want to buy new footmuff!

off swimming to swimming lessons now, dreading it as sooo cold again today. it was cxd last week tho. so must go get luka up and ready to go!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 14:13

buyer countered £160, i've countered £170 its the fees as i should then be left with £50 clear.

BexieID · 14/01/2009 14:24

Me and Tom are having a lazy day. We didn't get up till 10:45 . I've had lunch (his is untouched) and he is feeding me liquorice allsorts!
