Would you view this garment advertised on line and think - great look, I'll take it?

Do you have a link?!

There's a link already in this thread. Posted by the person you're asking for a link.

Its pretty much my spring look when im at work!
It easy to wear and fuss free.
I think my skirts were from River Island, Matalan and Go Outdoors.
They are ok with a t shirt and converse .
I wouldnt pay £95 for one though!

This skirt isn’t available ANYWHERE

it is very weird. Do a google image search.

it was a gant skirt but not this season

so how the OP came across it is a mystery as is reluctance to share a link!

As others have said, it is available. So not weird at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Somethingtosayagain · 09/02/2026 06:48

I am looking at buying a skirt in just that style.

The model is athletic and preppy looking, it is not a fashion look in the sense that it is always 'in' with some people.

unsync · 09/02/2026 07:27

It's giving 1990s. Probably due for a come back. 😬

flyhone · 09/02/2026 07:29

Very envious about those legs though.

TheDogsSmile · 08/02/2026 15:28

That looks better.

I agree. I wonder why the first retailer would present it so scruffily?

Very envious about those legs though.

Same. I always think someone with nice, shapely legs can make everything look better.

It's the combination they've chosen which just doesn't work, a crumpled shirt, creased skirt and clumpy shoes.

That combination worked very well in the late 80s. It'll "work" again if it becomes trendy.

MySweetGeorgina · 09/02/2026 07:35

I used to wear this kind of skirt with boat shoes, back in the 90s 😬

would feel very dated in it now, but you know how some people like to wear what they wore in their youth 🤷‍♀️

MySweetGeorgina · 09/02/2026 07:36

When I say 90s I mean 80s

God I am old 😅😁

TheNinjaWife · 09/02/2026 07:46

I used to wear this style on a beach holiday with flip flops and a vest top circa 2005. I purchased the skirts back then from Dorothy Perkins for around £10.

Barrenfieldoffucks · 09/02/2026 07:49

I would have loved to find this in my early twenties. I worked for a racing yacht and at a sailing school at various points...and the 'smart day' uniform was chambray shirt and chinos. But in the early 2000's it was nigh on impossible to find ladies fit ones or not many women worked there so there were only 'small mens' available. Not the best look!

brightnails · 09/02/2026 08:05

it would get creased and looks too tight a fit to be practical but not smart enough to be dressed up

catfleas · 09/02/2026 08:16

If I had the body to suit this I would wear it because it's feminine and casual. It does look a bit yacht staff or safari but it looks like something the Royals would wear on a day in nature.
